The first is based on results from a questionnaire survey entitled “Survey of University Students and Part-Time Jobs,” which was conducted in May 2016, to ascertain the realities of university students’ part-time employment. Also, in conjunction with this questionnaire, interviews were conducted with students who had experienced working in a difficult part-time labor environment and actually approached the author for consultation. An attempt was made to come to a better understanding of what university students are truly thinking and the serious situations in which they find themselves, factors which form the background leading to the results of the aforementioned written questionnaire. The analysis conducted combining both facets clarified the realities that university students face in their part-time jobs and showed a means toward reconciling students’ university life and their part-time jobs. Moreover, the investigation also examined occupation types, working hours, hourly wages and other labor conditions as well as the economic circumstances of students’ households, availability of assistance from households, receipt of any scholarships and other elements making up the students’ environment. Based on these survey results, proposals were examined for improving the current situation. Lastly, an inquiry was conducted of what faculty members are able to do, common issues that should be addressed within the university, and elements that should be dealt with in terms of the Okinawan labor environment.}, pages = {11--21}, title = {「大学生とアルバイト調査」結果を基にした考察 : 大学生生活とアルバイトの両立に向けて}, year = {2017} }
